Michael Acosta is currently a mechanical engineering student with an emphasis on bioengineering. Before beginning his academic career, Michael served six years in the United States Marine Corps as a military police. Spending three years in Quantico VA as part of the president’s helicopter squadron, HMX-1, and three years on Camp Pendleton CA where he deployed to Afghanistan. In 2011, after finishing his enlistment, Michael attended Palomar College where he received three associate degrees, before transferring to SDSU.
As the Treasure for the Student Veteran Organization, Michael is responsible for tracking, recording, and reporting all financial transactions of the SVO, as well as coordinating all fundraising events. Go Aztecs!
