Belen Boudreau is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, a unique branch of the military responsible for saving lives, protecting the environment, and defending America’s coastlines and waterways. While in the US Coast Guard Belen served 4 years’ active duty at US Coast Guard Group/Station Monterey California where she provided support in the areas of Port and Waterway Security, Aids to Navigation, Search and Rescue, Marine Safety, Environmental Protection, and Law Enforcement. After being honorably discharged Belen worked as a pharmacy technician and medical biller in hospitals and private medical practices.
Belen Boudreau is currently pursuing a BS in foods and nutrition. Before attending San Diego State University Belen attended San Diego Community College District where she completed her lower division course work to transfer to SDSU’s impacted foods and nutrition program.
Belen became an active member with the SVO during her first semester at SDSU spring 2016. Belen was elected for the position of Executive Vice President fall 2016 and elected for the position of President fall 2017.
